Located at the heart of downtown Montréal, steps away from legendary Sainte-Catherine Street with its high-end boutiques and restaurants, it’s also right next to the city’s renowned Quartier des spectacles, where Montréal’s world class festivals, concerts and shows can be enjoyed year round.
A stroll through the neighbourhood will take you to the iconic Birks jewellery store and its luxurious hotel and restaurant, the historic Hudson’s Bay department store, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Place des Arts, the site of outstanding stage performances, and other famous Montréal landmarks. So many ways to take part in the city’s history.
To ensure the project’s harmonious insertion within downtown Montréal’s landscape, Brivia Group entrusted Menkès Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux Architectes with the design of 1 Square Phillips. This world-renowned Montréal architectural firm has already graced the city with magnificent creations such as the Maison symphonique, home of the Montréal Symphonic Orchestra, and the Grande Bibliothèque, Quebec’s national library.
On the 50th floor, where the lounge and terrace will be located, the look will be equally striking. “We designed a series of rooms flowing into each other — the owners’ lounge, library, games room, bar — each of which has its own unique vibe. We’re particularly proud of the resulting effect,”. The terrace will offer spectacular vistas high above the hustle and bustle of the city.
